Talking to Customers or Clients

I was reading a post about someone getting sleepy at work, and I thought about my last job at a children’s mental hospital. I worked in the office, but they always sent me out to talk to people, and I hated that. I don’t know why they always had me do it as I am not a talker or a people person. I’m nice, but most everyone there was nice. I didn’t complain, but boy, did I feel awkward!
Do you mind when people expect you to do all the talking?

@AmbiePie I’ve barely spoken to anyone outside my family sooner I retired. I also need to have my eyes checked because what I read there was that you worked in a chicken’s mental hospital. I pondered that for a while and could not figure who they were sending you to talk to.

Not too much, I like to talk. However, if it was something I didn't really understand, and I had to deal with it..I wouldn't like it.

I don't. When I was in my teens especially in high school, I hated talking to people because I was way too shy. Then when I went to the university, I gained courage I never thought I had and I became a people person.
These days, whenever there's a need to talk to someone or to people, it's me who usually does it.
