Bob was up wandering a bit before midnight. Shortly after we had a heck of a storm break. It poured rain it seemed like for hours. There was thunder, and lightning. We had a little hail. I wonder if he could feel it coming in.
Marion had more hail than we did.
Now the sun is out. The temperature is rising. It is certainly not fall yet. I am hoping that the storm means we will not reach 100 like they predicted.
I have pulled a few weeds from the very soft ground, and repotted some of my amaryllis. I filled the bird feeders and I cooked a bit.
My lunch today is home made butternut squash soup with ham. It is yummy. Bob will really enjoy it. He was up once but now he is asleep again.

I think we might get storm later. it is hot, but somewhat humid and breezy outside.

I'm sure that soup will be delicious. We had a thunderstorm this morning and it's been raining most of the day.
