What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us! The kitchen at the main house sent over a tray of mahi mahi and a tray of garlic-roasted summer vegetables. The girl who is in charge of cooking tonight does a lot of her own cooking so I wouldn't be surprised to see her make rice to go with everything too. I was hungry when I got back here at 3:30pm and ate too many pretzel crisps. I'm not hungry any longer.

We'lll see how I feel in a couple of hours. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

What is mahi mahi? I love roasted vegetables with garlic. I try to have garlic with most of my meals. I think it’s only salads I skip the garlic, but it could still be in my dressing.

I had salmon with potatoes, vegetables, and a lemon a dill sauce. It was dillicious.

@NJChicaa I did. It’s not something available in the UK. Cod and haddock used to be the staple white fish here, but they have been seriously depleted by overfishing. Now we are encouraged to eat alternatives like hake and basa. Very disappointing. I hope you enjoyed your mahi mahi, they certainly look big enough to feed a few people.
