Roast Duck for lunch …… / myLot

Yes, today is Sunday and that means roast dinner day …… Today is The Misters 60th Birthday ….as old as me now kiddo ! So today we had roast duck, roast potatoes, cauliflower , peas and gravy. For dessert we had Salted Caramel ice cream. It was all delicious and enjoyed by us all . What have you had to eat today ?

@traceyjayne I made moussaka - again. It was really good. Duck is a fabulous bird for cooking. If it’s on the menu I have to have it.

@xFiacre …..I love moussaka …..The Mister isn’t keen ….. We seem to forget about duck most weeks ….it was on special offer and we were looking for something different as it’s his Birthday …. Mom has already told me to keep an eye out for when it’s on special offer again …. Most people think it’s a fatty bird ….and it’s really not !

The last time I had roast duck was at a restaurant years ago. Today, so far, I had an egg and cheese biscuit I made for breakfast and later a tomato sandwich for lunch.
