Spent time with the kids!

I had dinner with my son, nephews and nieces last not. Well, they're no longer kids anymore but I always call them kids.
They're like my kids. And my son is like an older brother to them.
I like spending my time with them than my siblings. They make me feel young and we enjoy the same stuff together that they couldn't enjoy when they're with their parents.
I'm the cool aunt.
So how was your weekend?

I’m the cool aunt because I’m the ONLY aunt. And you know what’s sad? My 15 year old niece thinks I lead the coolest life, living in my own apartment. She isn’t looking at the class of apartments I live in, or see the bills I barely pay. She sees my clothes and wants to wear similar ones, but I got those free to review. I’d love for her to want to be like me in personality, but good lord, don’t covet my life. It’s nothing to aim for; even though I’ve made peace with it.

We all wish for better lives for them. It's nice to have a cool aunt or uncle.

Yeah. These days because of school we hardly see each other. They live alone in their respective condo units.
But last night I brought them to the mall to have dinner. I have missed my son as well coz we haven't seen each other for two weeks.

I agree. I had a cool uncle too. We even used to play hide and seek with him when we were kids. And we used to play video games too. I am somewhat like that with the kids.

well...My son and I are close like siblings. We used to ride our bikes together and he would bully me for being too slow lol! I tried to keep up with his pace but well, he's young.1 person likes this
