It's National Lazy Day

Happy Monday Everyone! the heat wave continues with overcast skies and probably rain at some point. We need the rain so hopefully we'll get enough for it to help but no wicked storms to create problems.
My weekend was busy so I'm kind of happy to embrace this silly national day today.
I don't pay much attention to these "so called" national days but maybe I can enjoy a lazy day today or at least a "lazy" afternoon.
Of course my morning has been routine and I'm just sitting down now with my second cup of coffee.
How was your weekend? Do anything fun or exciting?

The older I get the less I enjoy summer with all the heat and humidity. Unless this year has been exceptionally hot but I haven't heard that we broke any records.
I don't blame you for staying inside. Getting out early is smart

@Marilynda1225 - We broker records here in Europe. I do not like this heat and I do not like summer anymore. I went out a few minutes to put the papers out to be collected, it's already 6 PM and it's still 98 F.

National lazy day,,,cool! I will fit right in. Weekend was pretty typical nothing out of the ordinary except having to swim an extra 100 yards.

I'm ready for a lazy afternoon today. I had company over the weekend which was nice but now I'm glad to be back to a normal routine day,
