What's for lunch?

What's going on the table today? I want to know!
We have lunch here at 12:30pm. As I came upstairs for a short break from the clinical session I smelled a familiar smell. I was trying to figure out what it was. I saw one of the cooks and asked if it was Cajun or blackening seasoning. She said yes it was blackening spices.
The menu says we are having blackened salmon or chicken and spinach salad with avocado ranch dressing. I can live without the spinach salad. I'll have some roasted asparagus and chick pea salad from the salad bar. I'll also have some fruit too. I hope it is watermelon or watermelon/strawberries/raspberries.

My elbows and my iPad always go on the table. 
I had the chicken taco and rice at Chuy’s. Skipped the salsa because of my stomach issues. I’m also watching the severe weather coverage out of Chicago. Friends of mine live there…they just lost their brother, they don’t need tornado damage on top of things.

We won't eat lunch until after 5 pm but we'll have leftover spaghetti with meat sauce from supper last night.
I like spinach. I usually use spinach in place of lettuce on sandwiches.

With all your cooking expertise I'm not surprised you knew it was Cajun or blackening seasoning.
Nothing fancy going on my lunch table today. Probably a tuna melt
