A simple but fun game

The photo shows another of the games we played at the clubhouse last Saturday. There were six rows of four cups placed upside down on the table. The six rows were numbered 1 to 6. Every cup had a small prize underneath. Some hid vouchers for $5 off the cost of the next social event, others hid perhaps an apple or lollipop. The person threw a large, foam dice. If it landed on a 2, he chose one of the cups from row 2 and took the prize from under the cup which was then removed from the table. Then the next person threw the dice and so on. It was a free game and while the prizes were insignificant, 24 people all collected something. Actually, there were two such tables operating so 48 people got prizes. It’s always a good feeling to win something, even if it is only a lollipop.

That is a nice relaxing game, very good when there are several people playing.

It’s a great feeling to get something from that game, no matter how small or insignificant. I believe it was made for fun, not to make people expect grand prizes hidden inside. It’s a game that can be enjoyed by both seniors and the young at heart during parties or gatherings like yours.

As long as everybody enjoyed themselves, I'd say that's a good game.
