Do you still enjoy cooking everyday?

When my dad was alive, i used to see him cook a lot, though my mom was a baker and a chef but my dad loved to cook even more than her. I guess that's what influenced me as i also love to cook but to be honest it's becoming tiresome to cook everyday. There are days where i might not be in a good mode, and there are days where i might have other things i need to sort out so and cooking will simply take my time. Do you still enjoy cooking everyday?

Would you like to cook in bulk or do you prefer cooking fresh food on a daily basis

@eLdav1s - I prefer to cook fresh food on daily basis. I do not like leftovers.

Not every day but I do love to cook and bake. It's why my husband wants me to go back to being a stay at home wife. When I was home there was always a hot meal and the house was clean. Typical wife stuff I guess. Now with everything else I don't get to cook that much anymore. I miss it.

@eLdav1s Baking is like cooking. I make cookies or brownies or even cake and it will last for a few days so you don't have to do it every day. Like cooking there are days I'll do a lot so I don't have to do it daily but maybe once or twice a week.

@JordanLader That's nice. There are times i do cook something that will carry us for two days or more. Then i we definitely want to learn how to bake cake and other snacks.

Same here i love cooking, i don't really know how to bake but it's something i definitely would love to learn in the future, but if it means i have to do it daily? I don't think i can.

I don’t enjoy cooking anymore. It’s kind of a pain, really. I’ll do it to be healthy, but it’s just a chore to me.

I can understand that. With the amount of time i have had to cook so far, it has started to become tiresome especially when there are others who can do it but refuse to.

It's annoying when i have so much to do, and the task are time based and then i have to worry about cooking as well.

It depends... I enjoy cooking for friends, and for family if I'm not in a rush. And of course it's best if they are appreciative! If it's just myself though then often I find it rather a pain and it always seems to take a lot of time. If it's just me I eat a lot of salad and bread and cheese!

Oh that's nice, do you cook in bulk, or do you have someone doing the cooking for you sometimes?

I am the primary cook in the house, so if I don't cook we'll starve, and if we eat out all the time, we'll go broke. It can be tiresome some days, but you push through anyway because you have to eat.
