Do you have a favorite fall flower?

I love maroon or rust colored Chrsyanthemums, but even more I love sunflowers bTo me they really signify the fall. There was a farm near here where you could cut your own, but it has mysteriously closed so I guess it is the store for me if I want some. I saw Lidl has some. Maybe later this week I can make an appearance.

I like mums also. I really like autumn sedum. I think that my favorite is the flower that looks like a cabbage plant, those are pretty.

@snowy22315 You have to do a search, they are a pretty pinkish purple colour. They are a hearty plant and can literally grow anywhere.

@snowy22315 That is a nice way to enjoy them! I do that with mum up the back porch steps. Of course now the cats would destroy them. They think a big pot with lillies in it is the perfect spot for a nap!

Chrysies here flood the stores around Mother's Day. How they get them to bloom at the precise right time is beyond my understanding.

I think my favorite would be the sunflower, but my REAL favorite foilage in the fall is wild bittersweet. The colorful vines, little orange-ish beads, etc...they are so beautiful. Hard to find in the wild now, as all the pesticides that are sprayed has killed off so many.
