I miss living with other people

It is weird. I've woken up a couple of times thinking that I'm still at the day spa. . . and then I realize that I'm all alone here in the apartment. It is strange that I'm having a hard time adjusting to being here since I'm always here alone. Not only was I living in a house with other women--I even had a roommate. I'm really easy to live with just like I'm really easy to share a classroom with. I just go with the flow. My roommate at the day spa didn't like that I always had CNN on so she would put her ear buds in and listen to a podcast or music or something. Other than that though she enjoyed me. I thought I was good with being here alone but apparently I enjoy having a roommate. Maybe I should consider renting out the 2nd bedroom.

I can see that about you, you are easy going, yet fun at the same time. Talk to your ex about this......see where that leads..... Not like I am pushing you back together, but it is a logical thought for the living arrangements. And if you get back together, then hey, let me know and I will uncross my fingers.

I hope you can be around people more. I know you hate to hear it, but it would be beneficial to you and your journey to increase your company.

I rented a room out in this house for several years. It has its good and bad points. Always having someone to talk to if you want to though is kind of an upside.

It is kind of nice having other people around. I live with four other people (hubby and three kids). It is nice to have people around. Although it is also nice to have the place to myself too.

Maybe that would help a lot of things. I’m too much of an introvert to have a roommate. Thankfully, since the house is paid off, I don’t need one for financial reasons.

And for the past two years I have been a total recluse; I do not step out of my four walls. However, you do have the cats, and you will start work again, so you are seeing people. If you want, then do consider the idea. I'd be thrilled to change location and live near my beloved NYC, but I have nothing to offer anyone.

I liked living by myself but Pretty has been here so many years I might not like living by myself anymore (She's always in her bedroom and I'm in mine, but we can always talk to each other if we want/need to.)

I'd just say 'be careful what you wish for'. There are roommates and then there are roommates and some are much better than others.

Think carefully before you rent out a room …..but …..I think it may be good for you. You obviously like being with people so it would be good for you to have some company ….make sure it’s someone who likes cats though x
