I had almost finished another post when boom...the electricity went out! It had just started sprinkling and not even raining hard. We had been hearing thunder in the distance, but after checking radar it looked like we would get very little rain or miss it all together.
I'm happy we did get another good soaking, but not happy that the electricity is going out every time it rains. This is getting a bit too much.
I also don't even remember what I was writing about...
, so I will just carry on! Oh and the electricity came back on in about 40 minutes so it wasn't so bad.

That would be very frustrating to have the power go out every time it rains. 40 minutes is probably long enough though in this weather!

It's been a while since we got some rain here. The grass is all brown. We have lots of clouds but they never rain...
At least your electricity was back on quickly.

@kareng True. Northern Missuri is getting rain and flooding. The forecast is showing a 20% chance of rain tomorrow and a 40% chance tomorrow night. That would be nice.
It was 105F here this afternoon.

Glad it wasn't off very long. We had that happen last week. Just some rain but the electric went off

When the electricity goes off, you don't know how long it's going to be before it comes on again. That's the annoying part for me.
