Yesterday Was a Really Good Day

Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's a blue sky, white fluffy clouds, sunny day here today. It's still warm but it's summer so i shouldn't be surprised or complain. But, I do have to interject that I'm tired of all the heat and humidity Yesterday went well. Started off by my son and daughter in law arriving at their vacation destination safely. My daughter in law sent me a picture of them at the resort and they do look like honeymooners (they're married 22 years). My oldest daughters son (my grandson) did come over to say good-bye as he was leaving for college today. I got my big bear hugs and lots of joy from his silly self. It was nice to have him home for the summer even though he was busy working, etc. My cousin called in the early afternoon, She was visiting her parents and decided to call while there. While talking to her and she texted me both a picture and a video of her new granddaughter. Sweetest little one Then individually I got to chat with my Aunt and then my Uncle. My dinner dilemma was solved when my daughter suggested pizza and no complaints from me. She went out and picked it up, paid for it and I didn't have to cook. So, my day was a win win overall. Today looks like a quiet day and I'm halfway through a book I didn't think I was going to like. Halfway and it got really good so this afternoon I'm hoping to get in some quality reading time. Speaking of books I added two new ones to my Kindle. I've got to get back into the reading mode. My daughter will be taking her lunch break soon and I've been lollygagging all morning.
