We did it. Friend and I made it through the doctor visit. He ended up being kind. He listened to both of us. Millions of people bravely go through chemo and radiation treatments each and every day. I don't know how they endure any of that. Today I again refused the bone biopsy. I did agree to taking pills. I agreed to taking more scans in three months. I agreed to meet with the doctor's nurse at the end of October. Tomorrow mid morning I will go get the medication and we will see if I end up starting a medically induced flu. Quality of life? We'll see. I also called my niece and discussed again my plans of riding the train north. She is very kind, telling me she will house me and drive to the places that are true home for me. She also said she'd get me to the Home where my sister is now. That will be an epic journey. I hope to do this next month BUT the pills may make it impossible. Anyway, tomorrow. At last treatment starts.
