My sister’s family is a little obsessed with Legos. I once went on Amazon to buy a set for their family for Christmas, but every affordable set I showed her, they had already had it. Hear is a picture of the one she has for that movie, Up! You know, the house on balloons? Up! Is one of my sister’s favorite family movies, and her husband bought her that set.
There are several generic brands of building block sets that are made with quality too.
Does anyone’s family get into that?
By the way, are there many more painful things than stepping barefoot on a random Lego? Ow!!

Chris loves Legos. And he's done some of the off brand ones. Some of them are good quality, some are not. He's on his fourth set of this brand right now. He's putting one together. I have no idea what brand they are, but they are really good quality.
You might remember his bear he built around christmas time that took forever.

Here Lego sets are quite expensive.
My DIL has sets for the girls of Legos, lots of them, and has an entire 3 tier cart on wheels with the coloured clear magnetic tiles. They just love building with those things. Because they are not sets, it leaves much more to the imagination.
But yeah, randomly stepping on a lego block is painful.

It is painful to step on a Lego. Son was a Lego freak as a youngster. You could never go wrong getting him a Lego set.

A friend who lived with us for a couple of years was into Lego sets. I bought him new sets for his birthdays and Christmas while he lived with us. (I've never stepped on a Lego, barefoot or not.
)
Pretty never was into playing with Legos or building blocks at all. When I was a child, Legos weren't a thing yet. We had square blocks we played and built things with, though.

A jack is very painful.
I bought legos for my boys but would not buy them anymore. They are way too expensive now

My sister and I enjoyed playing with them. I wish that we still had them. Ours would be banned now for being a choking hazard. My son had some too and I enjoyed playing with them when he got them out.

We love that movie, so cool there's a lego set for it. My son loved them when he was younger, before he got attached to technology.

My children all absolutely loved Legos. So do the young grandchildren. I think they are wonderful toys, a definite way to occupy anyone and it’s calming as well. I love doing Legos with the grand.
