A Nice Ending

Yesterday was a very rain day here.
The clouds would move in, rain, then rotate and return a little later. It was an all day affair basically. I was happy to stay inside for 1 day, but I wasn't looking forward to a second day of it, today seems to be a little clearer.
I made a nice fresh batch of blueberry muffins yesterday, my husband loves them.
At the end of the day, right after quite a heavy downpour I heard alot of sounds, like talking and laughing outside. I moved the curtains and noticed a beautiful double rainbow in the sky. There were alot of neighbours outside pointing, taking pictures and just enjoying the view. So I joined in and took this picture. The sky in the back of the picture is stormy looking, that was just our day yesterday.

@snowy22315 It was quite vibrant and wider than I have seen before. It must have been caused by the angle that the sun was at and the colour of the sky.

Thank you, the photo doesn't do it justice.
The colours were so vibrant and bright-just stunning really.
I have not seen a rainbow with the violet as striking or as wide as it was in this one.
It must have been because the sun was low in the sky as it was after supper.
Rainbows just speak directly to our soul in such a beautiful and promising way.

We haven't had rain in a month or longer here. Our sky is grey and the forecast is prediction rain this afternoon or overnight. I hope we get some. All the grass here is brown and crispy.

There is something so special about seeing a rainbow.
I am sure that this will be a good week at work.
After this week, I will enjoy a week off for vacation.
I'm not going anywhere, just relaxing with my husband, son and the twins. Our DIL couldn't get this week off, so he's home getting the girls ready to start school, they have a hair appointment and an eye appointment and hopefully some time to play.
