The lonely butternut squash will have its day at last !

So last Autumn ….yes, almost a year ago, I bought a butternut squash…..it was on offer , obviously.
I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with it….soup or just roasted etc …..
Anyway, said squash has been living at my Moms for all this time.
Today when we went round for dinner she asked if I still wanted it ….
It is still perfect. I have bought it home and tomorrow I shall make soup. I may put it in the freezer and have it with some crusty bread when the weather gets colder.
Butternut squash soup and crusty bread, anyone ?

@Traceyjayne I like all kinds of soup. I will even eat pumpkin soup once in a great while. (I'd rather eat a little of the pumpkin raw, though.
