No Mowing

But I do need to remember to check the one camera tomorrow before hubby starts mowing. This picture shows you why. It likes to fall where I have it. At least this time it took some nice sky photos. Usually it lands facing down.
Hubby decided to wait until after his eye appointment tomorrow. So I pulled and picked my green beans. I didn't have enough to can this time but made a huge pot of vegetable soup. We have enough for tomorrow which will be nice after mowing.
I also got my stone crocks washed up. They are ready to take to the auction now. I am just waiting on the grapes that are starting to ripen. Those usually give me a nice payday.
And I cut the tree down again by the back of the house. I am going to salt and cover the stump. That should stop it from growing.

Is it strapped to something or is it just sitting against something. We have one to watch the deer and birds and it slides down all the time.

We keep having walnut saplings cut down but they keep coming back. At least the walnut trees aren't dropping more walnuts now.

My grandmother grew concord grapes. They have a lot of iron in them. She canned a lot of them, but I ate a lot too.
