Hooray! I made it to the flea market to do a quick restock! The booth wasn't too bad and I removed all the items that were not mine and left on the table for restock. I usually put the items back, but was in a hurry.
Our first stop of the afternoon was an Estate Sale that wasn't far from the flea market. It was the last day of the sale and everything was 50% off. They noted that after 4 pm, they would be open to making "deals." So we made it there at 3:45 and had looked through everything when 4 pm hit.
What did we get? There was nothing really good left that caught my eye, but I picked up a few bargains for the flea market. I got two flush mount light fixtures with all the accessories to install in the box. I think someone bought these and then changed their minds. I also got two nice baskets, a couple of CD's and a couple of DVD's, and a nice designer carry bag that can be used for laptop bag, etc. My bundle was only $10.
My husband decided he wanted to get some fabric. They had an 8 ft. table that was stacked up about 3 feet with fabric on bolts and fabric that had been cut. I knew he wanted the ones to use for covering stools, chairs or used for upholstery. He asked how much it was and she told him to make a bundle or take the whole table and also two bins under the table. He made a bundle and she gave him a price of $15, which was a good price considering that heavy fabric is $8.00 or more a yard now. Then he asked for the price for the whole table and she told him $40. So he chose the table.
We barely got it all in the car because we had flea market restock in the car and also I had things left from the auction pick up on Thursday in the car. It was too hot to try to unload on Friday.
We ended the day by stopping at Jack's for a Burger Combo for dinner and headed on home.
How was your Sunday afternoon? And what did you have for dinner tonight?

It sounds like a very full day and hopefully profitable for you. The only part I would not enjoy is unloading the car!!
I keep forgetting to ask, I remember your husband was buying a lot of boats to flip. Did he get them all done and sold?

We did not unload anything tonight and still have auction stuff in there from Thursday. Guess what we are going to tackle tomorrow??
No, he got into guitars and learning how to play and that took up all the time when it was nice and cool. Now he has put it aside and wants to get a cover first before getting into it. But then again he said he is starting on the Skeeter this coming week because he wants to go fishing. We will see what happens.

You two have a lot of projects. I can barely keep up with the everyday tasks.

Fabric (and yarn) has really gone up in price so your husband made out really really well with his purchase.
My Sunday was great as I had company for the weekend. Although it was fun, I'm tired today

They are good. I find that service and food goes down a bit at some of them after they have been open awhile. If you hit one when they first open, they have a hostess in the dining area that will get you whatever you need: ketchup, more sauce, refills, etc. They really have a nice operation going. Their fried chicken is also good!

That was a good day for the flea market shopping
with everything you both got, specially the fabric
We use to do a lot of flea market shopping but since
we moved from Fla, to Indiana there's not so many
flea markets to shop in,

It sounds like you had fun at the flea market and came away with good bargains.
We had our church picnic yesterday. My son and his girlfriend went to church with me. I needed my son to pick me up as the people who normally give me a ride were doing the cooking for the picnic and then headed somewhere else afterward. It was a very good day.
