What are we going to talk about?

Brother decided to host a dinner party to celebrate our late mom's natal day tomorrow, Friday the 28th of August. As mentioned in my previous post, we all don't really get along that well but we are united when it comes to business and when celebrating something important. It's funny though that we would just dine together without really talking to each other. How weird is that? Anyway, I'm certain I'd be joining the kid's table to be with my nephews and nieces.

Well, the most important thing is that you celebrate your mum. Hope you settle your differences

Maybe you can reminisce about your mom. That is why you are all gathered together anyway, isn't it?

You have such a unique way of bonding as siblings. I can see the same with my aunts and uncles—since they live far apart, they rarely connect. Often, the only time they make an effort to talk and share news is when someone in the family is sick. When everything is fine, they seldom reach out or try to get together.

You are right, it's weird, but at least you get together to remember your Mom, that is a very nice thing to do.
