Thursday Storms

Happy Thursday Everyone! my usual Thursday wake-up is the sound of the lawn crew and their mowers. Today I was rudely woken up by booming thunder! It was around 7am and I was not ready to start the day and leave my comfortable bed. Thankfully I was able to fall back asleep.
Today, however, looks ominous. It's dark and dreary so the house lights are on but they aren't helping much. The rain hasn't been too bad so far but the forecast is for severe storms by afternoon.
I'm glad I got my few errands run yesterday so I don't have to worry about going out today.
Can't say there's much going on otherwise. No complaints and I'm happy for an easy day and my only concern is losing power if the storms get too bad.

No rain yet. It's Friday morning here but no sun at all. Forecast says it's going to rain this morning. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But I'm glad there's no sun because it could get really hot.

They started here at 8a. Ugh! Weather is moderate. Supposed to have it in the 80s this weekend. I will be able to open my window for a change.

Ir'a OK, but I think we are going to have rain later. YOur post reminded me I should check the forecast. I hope the rain holds off until evening. I had some things I wanted to do. Hope your power stays on.

I honestly don’t remember a time when we have had a storm that has gone on for so long …..it started again this morning ….only just stopped now and it’s mid afternoon now.
