Animal control officer rescue a kitten who fell down in a 10 foot rusty pipe

Alameda County Animal Control Officer (ACO) Crum answered an emergency call over the weekend when a male kitten fell down a rusted pipe at Ferry Point in California. ACO Officer Crum used his ingenuity to get the male kitten out of the 10 foot depth of the pipe that was located in an abandoned field. The kitten was given a bath at the animal hospital and given the name Rusty who only suffered an injury to his paws. Rusty was adopted by the Alameda Police Department (ADP) dispatcher who is female to join her as part of her family. How did Rusty fall down 10 feet in a pipe is a mystery.
