Its Almost Here

Today is Friday. 
No big news there.
But, it is also the last Friday of the month.
It is also my last day of working for a bit. I booked off a week's vacation for next week, which will take me into September. I return to work on the day after Labour Day.
My son and I have been planning this for over a year. He and I both booked the same week off so that we could spend some time together and get some appointments and things done with the girls. He has a hair appointment for them, that takes both of us, they still get nervous--because for too long they referred to it as a hair cut, and cut means pain to children. We have adjusted the verbage we use surrounding the hair appointment. They also have an eye appointment. Our son would like to get them into a good routine, get up, dress, eat, hair and teeth, and out the door to walk down the block to where they will catch the bus.
He wants to do this every morning so that it is familiar to them.
As for me, I have a concert to attend tomorrow with my husband. We are seeing Bryan Adams, a favorite of ours. He is doing his Roll with the Punches tour. We've heard and like alot of the new songs he's released.

@LooeyVille We've attended a couple of them within the past decade, but used paper tickets.
Those are no more--too much fraud.
And just to have them on your Ticketmaster app on your phone is not enough, again fraud, so you have to download it to your digital wallet. That was so trying to set it up, and the scary thing is that we won't know if it was set up properly until we are scanned in or declined entry.

It's nice that you have some time off. Glad that you'll be able to spend some time with your son and granddaughters.
I keep meaning to book some time/days off, but I haven't yet. It's something that I will definitely be doing soon, as I could use some time off.

Yes, I am excited to have a break from work and to go to the music concert tomorrow night.
It will be alot of fun.
Melody insists on having me over for an afternoon next week to spend with her and Vicki, as a late celebration of my birthday. I would rather spend the afternoon with Ron, Jonathon and the girls.

Best of luck with the girls. Sounds good to me getting them in a routine. For them it is easier than it was for me when I first got to first grade. I was shy and miserable, but they are two, so they can lean on each other Enjoy the concert; I love Bryan Adams music,

They are entering Jr. Kindergarten.
Next week is the last full week of summer holidays for students and teachers.
I hope that I have my mobile wallet set up properly on my iPhone, that is how we get into the concert. I will be so relieved when our tickets are accepted at the venue.

I'm only finished work half an hour but feeling freeeee! Well for a week's time anyways. 
We are both looking forward to tomorrow's concert.
I had to set up my digital wallet for the tickets, there are no more paper tickets, we will see tomorrow if I was successful in doing that it was very stressful and I hope it worked.

I haven't been to a concert in quite a while. I am glad to hear Bryan Adams is still performing. A friend of mine went to a Billy Idol concert recently, and it looked like a lot of fun. Enjoy your vacation!
