What's for supper? / myLot

I am making fish and chips tonight, with a bit of corn on the side. I was hungry earlier but now that I have started supper, I am not. Maybe I will just eat one piece of fish. My team is playing their last pre season game tonight, so I will have to watch them. The game starts at 6. It is weird they won't even have the news on. Sadly, the offensive line is crap. They can't seem to protect the quarterback. The main QB and the starters are not playing tonight..but the management makes no sense..they spend all their time going after playmakers..well it will do no good if the QB can't get a pass off.

We had fish and chips tonight too. Ours was from the chip shop though . what fish did you have ? I like haddock.

I can’t wait for the season to finally start. I expect the Cowboys to have a good season, and then to lay an egg in the playoffs. I have higher hopes for the Chiefs. Imitation crab is what I’m having.

I'm warming basic split pea soup and putting left over mashed spuds in. That's supper but not sure what I will have on the side.

No, I am just using packaged fish. I didn't batter and bread it myself. However, I did prepare the chips from a potato, and cooked them in the air fryer.
