Trying Something New

So you know I’m not one not one for sweets. However, if something looks “different” than the norm, I’ll likely try it even if it is a sweet. Enter these small Matcha brownies I got free to review. I think I’ve had a matcha beverage once, but I liked it okay. And, these brownies were pretty good. Predominantly though, I tasted chocolate first and foremost. I washed it down with some protein soy milk, and that made for a decent snack. Want one? What is the last “interesting” food you tried?

They look pretty good! You know I'm up for anything to try once. I think it was mushrooms. These pre packaged mushrooms. I think we talked about them. They were weird by themselves but in ramen they were good! I love mushrooms though

Yeah, those mushrooms were different. But so much is good in ramen, thank goodness.

@AmbiePam I love ramen if the sodium content wasnt so high, I would eat it so much more. But I found a high protein ramen I might need to try.

@thislittlepennyearns Oh, that would be great. Even though my doctor told me to get more salt in my diet, I don’t think she’d want me to solely try to get the right amount through Ramen. Although, maybe we don’t need to tell her. After all, her advice was to eat a bag of chips.

Yes, I might try them. I have had matcha teas, but not brownies. I am glad they were good. The one turn off I get from these is the ''artificial flavoring'' thing. I always have to wonder, why does it have to be artificial? Can they not use the real thing? What exactly IS the artificial flavoring, anyway? I always question too much, I know.

Yeah, I saw that, but I so rarely have anything artificial that I overlooked it. Companies are doing much better these days with that.

@AmbiePam Yes,they are. I’m not totally adverse to trying something like this but I have to admit I usually read the labels.

Think I would pass on the brownies, I am not big on matcha..Oh I know I just finished the bag. I found some mini rice cakes drizzled with topping at Walmart. It only had 90 calories for 28 of them which seemed quite reasonable. They do taste good, but it is a lot like eating cereal out of the box, maybe not as quite calorically dense.

There was a funny thing on the internet on men's Biceps. What type of bicep do you find attractive. One of the ladies says not after three, they would not enjoy a sweet treat with me. Funny thing is picture one was a small bicep but bigger and more toned than most men.

I was bad and bought the Halloween Oreo cookies today. They were really good.

I'd try these. I haven't had anything interesting lately.

my daughter loves matcha so much, she'll probably try what you had too. i like matcha flavor but my gut wouldn't tolerate the matcha drink. (i tend to throw up.) as for the interesting food -- i'm not sure if i've tried anything new or interesting lately. but what i cannot forget was when my college friend had me try grilled chicken head. of course, i had to eat the chicken brain too because it's the only meat that you can get out of it. it was good though i probably won't have it ever again.

I've never even tried matcha, but I am not sure I would like it. So, not sure about these brownies either! But that is good that they were pretty good in your opinion. Not sure something interesting...maybe the london broil steak that we recently tried and loved
