Manosphere, looksmaxxing, bone-smashing - have you heard of these?

So many new terms are creeping into everyday use and many of them are totally foreign to me. One of these is ‘manosphere’ which relates to websites, blogs and online forums which are in opposition to feminism and promote masculinity and misogyny.
Manosphere followers may go for ‘looksmaxxing’, an online self-improvement practice promoted by the manosphere. Part of looksmaxxing might be ‘bone-smashing’ which caused my eyes to boggle when I first came across it.
Turns out bone-smashing isn’t QUITE as bad as I thought. It’s not really bone-smashing but simply means continually tapping the face with a hammer to alter the structure. I suppose it works or surely people wouldn’t be doing it. I find it hard to believe anyone would do this. What is wrong with people nowadays?

Hey, there are some guys that I’d gladly take a hammer to their face to help!

Man this, man that. All these new words. Another is "woke'.
Men are afraid of woman's grace, intelligence and confidence. How ugly! Have you read about the Victorian era and how women had no rights? When they married they became invisible with no rights, no options. Powerhungry money grabbing men. And look at the state of the U.S. under a power hungry tyrant.
I could go on and on.

Bone smashing yes.
Not others.
I have been reading an "unabridged" version of a classical novel.
In that I do come across some very unique although traditional words.
Yet the ones you mentioned, except for one are truly unique.
Pictures, Movies and some other avenues do make us feel more positive.

We live in a crazy, messed up world. Who in their right mind would want to continuously hammer their face with a tool to alter the bone structure? To me, that's just asking for trouble.
Like you, I tend to turn to nature when humanity gets me down.

I have never heard of any of them. Reminded of the old tradition in China about foot binding to make women's feet smaller or keep them from growing,
