We couldn't decide what to have to eat for our evening meal so we looked at the starters and found that we could have 5 starters for £21.
So we had pulled pork tacos, two lots of southern fried chicken with BBQ sauce, chicken strips and nachos,
All was enjoyed ....and all got eaten ...
Sometimes it's just nice to have something a bit different
What have you had to eat today ?

@Traceyjayne You obviously don’t frequent the same restaurants as Michael.

A lot of restaurants seem to be serving up Tapas style meals instead of the traditional three course. It’s not my thing. I am trying to cut out one of the 3, so it’s either starter and main, or main and pudding. I am trying to maintain my racing snake physique, remember?

@Traceyjayne Yeah, I might have missed the racing bit off before. I’m just absent minded these days. It was something Terry Wogan used to say, and I latched on to it. If I remember rightly, he was rather portly, so it was probably just wishful thinking.
I hope you don’t think I’m judgemental? I’m not. Just joking really. I think you fret when your mister is away and enjoy your meals together when he’s home.
I had a homemade beef stew for my tea. No starter, no pudding. But later I had a few cheeky chunks of chocolate. That was my dessert. Nice

@Orson_Kart I remember listening to Terry Wogan, he had some sort of slimming thing going on ...can't remember the name now though ...
I know at the time I was a tyg now I'm a tog.
I don't think you are judgemental ....it seems like I eat a lot I know, but I really don't.
Only have breakfast in a Saturday ... usually full English or bacon bap ...I eat healthy all week... and no desserts.
I miss him when his is away but don't fret or comfort eat because of that.
We have a takeaway once a week ...
The Mister and I both like cheeky chunks of chocolate.

I didn't realise it was racing .....
We usually only have a main .. very rarely a dessert.
Years ago we would have three courses ....I know you think I eat a lot now, but I couldn't eat a three course meal nowadays !
