So I went out on the Saturday night August 30th Got into the club just before midnight About 11.45 pm approx , I think because they didn't let people in after midnight Got a drink at the bar and put it down on a table Think I went for a smoke of a joint with a pal and when we came back I asked a girl to dance and we danced to a couple of songs The third song we danced to was when I first saw Yvonne So I manouvered the girl I was dancing with and got as close to Yvonne as I could and smiled at her The guy she was dancing with was inept and inert Bad skin, a fat face and two lefft feet lol Yvonne to be fair never took me on straight away So a couple of songs later and she was still dancing with bad skin boy I decided to act So, I walked on to the dance floor and asked her what she was doing. Rude Jimbo She said " dancing" I said " he isnt" and Yvonne laughed So I asked him to stand aside, politely. Yvonne mouthed" thank you" lol You know, after dancing with Yvonne for 15 minutes it just felt natural. Like we were in sync. Well good dancers are , aren't they Anyway, we danced a lot and had a few drinks. And the last dance, well I was nervy because I was hoping Yvonne was a good kisser, and when she pecked my cheek I felt like a wee boy at a school disco And that my friends is the story of how I met Yvonne Just after midnight on August 31st 1997 So I checked some stuff 10,591 days since August 31, 1997 28 years, 11 months, and 30 days ago 347 months since then 1,513 weeks ago The best 10, 591 days of my life.
