It's Official....Pumpkin Spice Season is Here

United States
September 1, 2026 9:32am CST
Happy Tuesday and Happy September Everyone! It's overcast and showers expected on and off today. We had a sprinkle already and I don't mind a rainy day. I just don't like the days with severe storms which seems to have been a good part of the past few months. I'm looking forward to some sunny cooler days so I can open all the windows and air out the house. Even with the a/c going all summer the house still feels stale. Pumpkin Spice season has arrived Starbucks is already advertising their Pumpkin Spice Latte. I'm not a big pumpkin spice person but I do love pumpkin pie and pumpkin muffins. Are you a pumpkin spice lover and are you happy to be able to get their seasonal drinks, etc.?

I don't like Starbucks so I wouldn't get any of their lattes but I do love pumpkin pie. I just wish I had a real oven so I could learn how to make one for me, I just don't see how a toaster oven could bake a pie.

You should try an air fryer Rebel. They are so much more versatile than a toaster oven. I just saw where you could make a 6 to 7 inch pumpkin pie in one.

I guess it depends on how big your toaster oven is on whether you could fit a standard size pie plate in it.

I love pumpkin spice everything! When Diana’s granddaughter was still in high school they’d sell pumpkin spice cream cheese rolls. Diana would always buy one, and wow, was it good! I’m always so happy to see you!

Yes, I am I had a seasonal drink Saturday. I think Sbucks has had Pumpkin Spice Latte since August 19, I had one a year or two at Sbucks in an area to the West of here but still in this country. It was no good. Someone apparently didn't know what the recipe was. I had one at WaWa once though for half the price and it was excellent,,,go figure!

WaWa seems to have come a long way these days, I see commericals on tv for all sorts of drinks. I'm not a big Starbucks fan since I like plain old black coffee but my daughter is a Starbucks lover of their cappuccinos.

NO, pumpkin spice is not something that is so popular here. It's a bit early for pumpkins, another couple of weeks, may be even 3.

@Marilynda1225 They are already pretty big. Today the sun was still very hot. I will pick up one next week to check how it is.

I like the spices in pumpkin spice, but I don’t like it when they throw the pumpkin flavor in as well.

No, I am not a lover of the pumpkin spice drinks. I like the odd slice of pumpkin pie or a slice of a loaf, but I don't like to overdo it.

Pumpkin is just an 'ordinary' vegetable over here. I don't think we even have pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie isn't common either.
