OMG! We're in shock! You might remember that a little over 3 months ago my husband lost his wallet. We had to freeze our credit cards, get him a new drivers license, close a bank account, etc., etc. This morning he was changing the sheets on the bed, which he has done numerous times since losing his wallet. He had to move the set of cat stairs we have by the bed. Out popped the wallet!!!! It had fallen down in between the cat stairs where you couldn't see it. Can you believe his wallet turned up after all this time? I cried because I was so happy. Hubby is calling himself a dumba$$

OMG, I would be in shock too! ?? After going through all that trouble to freeze cards, replace his license, and deal with the bank, finding the wallet hiding in the cat stairs must have felt absolutely unbelievable. I can totally understand why you cried—you probably went through every emotion at once! And honestly, tell hubby not to be too hard on himself… that wallet found the perfect hiding spot! ?? What an amazing and hilarious surprise after three months!

my first reaction. Since nothing works in that wallet meaning the old cards and documents was at least there some money saved up,

Sometimes, when something is lost or misplaced, it does eventually turn up in an odd place. The ex lost his wallet once when we were married. Like you, we literally looked everywhere at home and in his car. Then we attacked his office and looked through it--we didn't miss anything at all that we knew of. A few years later, his office was remodeled. It had to be completely dismantled during the renovation as he was moved to another office until his was redone. The office had a huge desk, what a person often calls a ''banker's desk'' and there was no way that anyone could lose anything under it--it weight a gazillion pounds and was loaded to the teeth...they took out the drawers, etc. to move it to make it lighter, and found his wallet behind one of the drawers. The drawer was never full, so it's hard to think how it got back there. It took forever to cancel all of his stuff and get new cards, etc. as I recall. No, he's not a dumba$$. At least now you know it was there the entire time, and that none of his personal info fell in to the wrong hands. Yay!

That certainly must be a relief that his missing wallet was in the house all this time. As miserable as it was to have to cancel all the cards, etc at least you know now that nothing is out there and you don't have to worry. Funny how things like that happen

I remember you telling us about the lost wallet. At least you found it. I did something similar with an Ebook, got a replacement and then found the old one

Just now
Lol i can imagine the joy, i have had similar experiences like this, you have clearly checked that place numerous times before, only for you to randomly find it there when you least expected it. But since you guys had already changed license and all that, that means the content on the wallet won't be needed again?

I'm so happy he found the wallet. This happens to the best of us though..you find something you've been looking for all this time and you have no clue it's been there all this time
