The reason for our little trip to Pisa is two fold. Firstly today is our 42nd wedding anniversary, secondly Thursday is my wife’s birthday. So today we celebrated the anniversary, drinking negronis in most of the cafes along the Via Roma. Then, after sitting a while in the Piazza Santa Caterina, we had a meal in a lovely little restaurant. Along the way I saw a nice shirt in a shop window. It was nothing extra special but I liked it, white cut along classic lines. I soon realised that it was the same as the shirt I was wearing ! The big difference was that in Pisa it cost four times what I spent on Amazon. As we were sitting in the restaurant a girl walked by the window and her outfit was best described as underwear. Seriously, it was just a bra and pants. It was a warm evening, but any evening in public requires more than underwear. Do girls like this not realise how dangerous it can be to dress thusly?
