I am 74 years old. I want to live for as long as possible. I do a lot of research into longevity and good health and share much of them here. The number one reason people that people live to 100 and beyond is connection, being seen and heard. I have a grand relationship with my daughter and grandson. I am seen and heard. I also connect with you gems here on Mylot. Are you connecting?

Absolutely. Connection becomes even more valuable as we get older, and having people who genuinely listen and care can make such a difference. It sounds like you have built some lovely connections with your daughter, grandson and the MyLot community. I think simply having a place where you can share your thoughts and know someone is listening is pretty special

@celticeagle I agree, it really does. I enjoy sharing my thoughts on here too, and it is nice when people actually take the time to respond. It makes you feel like you are not just talking into the void.

I connect with people here and on facebook, and go to the Centre4Women at least once a week. And then there's my friend Juanita who usually phones me every day just to make sure I'm still alive...

I catch up as much as I can with everyone here on myLot, You have your daughter and your grandson, so for you living has more meaning. I cannot forsee an alone road for me for more than another ten years,
