So, earlier this evening I went blackberry picking .....the ones I picked on Monday are safely in the freezer. I have done a very careless and silly thing. I have touched a stinging nettle. My hand is tingling now. I couldn't see a dock leaf anywhere, despite being told that wherever you have nettles , you have dock leaves. . Is that true or just a myth Anyway, I'm sure it will be fine by morning. That's the risk you take when you going picking Blackberries I guess! How are you today ?

That’s the beauty of picking punnets of fruit from Tesco, No stinging nettles! Yeah, I believe dock leaves are normally close to nettles. At least they were when I was a kid. If they’re not now, it must be down to global warming.

The last time Pretty and I went canoeing, I stepped into a patch of stinging nettles along the bank of the river we were canoeing on. My legs were covered with bright red, itchy bumps. I told her I didn't want to canoe on that river anymore. I'm mostly fine. I'm feeling wobbly and almost fell twice this evening while making dinner. That means the draining of the spinal fluid is wearing off now. *shrug* I let Pretty know so she could write it down to show the neurologist when we see her in a few more days. I was hoping I'd be okay until it was time for my appointment.

I’ve never had the misfortune of getting near a stinging nettle to my knowledge. It sounds incredibly unpleasant.

I am happy today since I have been getting offers via snail mail to receive health insurance from medical companies since I reached 65 years old.
