Hubby has something on his left arm, it looks like a wart to me but the dermatologist said it's prurigo. Weeks after, it grows a bit, the skin where it is attach is red and according to hubby, it is itchy. Docttor gave medications but still keep growing. He went again to same derma and said it looks like a wart.
We went to our surgeon and decided to have it removed but the hmo disapproved the procedure. They said they do not cover dermatological cases. What?!?!
We are still going to proceed anyways, we will just re-schedule it on not so rainy day.

Has your hubby tried the various creams and ointments the derma can prescribe for that? Your derma should have suggested trying something like that first.
