Extra Dog in the House / myLot

We have an extra dog in the house. We are pet sitting for our friends. They left for the weekend and we got their dog, Pixie, at our home. I like having Pixie here as it teaches Cookie to share and to be social. Cookie struggles to share both food and affection but I hope more exposure would make her improve. This is a photo of them of today’s afternoon walk.

They are not at each other’s throat at least. But my dog do get growly when I give Pixie affection.

It is a love-hate relationship I am not allowed to touch Pixie or Cookie have her melt down. She was screaming and crying when I picked Pixie up today to put her on the bed as Cookie has been guarding the bed and does not allow Pixie to climb up.
