What Is Something From the Past You Wish Still Existed?

The world keeps changing, and many things that once felt normal have disappeared or become less common.
Maybe it's the way neighbors used to know and look out for each other. Maybe it's handwritten letters, childhood games, family traditions, older forms of entertainment, or simply spending more time together without everyone being distracted by technology.
What is one thing from the past you genuinely miss or wish still existed today?
It could be something from your childhood, your culture, technology, entertainment, family life, or everyday society.
And why do you think it disappeared?

That’s a good question. I guess I’d say more get togethers where technology is not involved. I go see my nieces and nephew at their home, and they want to play games on their devices. While they also do non technology things too, I wish they were more board game kids.
My dad and his wife have get togethers, and I guess because they are of a certain age, they still play games that don’t involve anything but a roll of a dice or cards.
*Edit: I have since thought about this more, and I really miss clean TV shows! I’m tired of the profanity and filth! Even back in the 90s I could see new clean shows. Not anymore.

Friends used to come over and spend the day playing various board games with me. One particular friend still did up until just before the pandemic started. I mentioned him to my daughter yesterday. She suggested I try to find him and see how he's doing now and invite him over.
I found his family online but don't know how to go about asking where he is/what he's doing now without offending them. (I'm not interested in any of them, just him.
)
Edit to add: If YOU have time to come play some cards or board games with me, you'd be more than welcome.

@eLdav1s My favorite board game is called Sequence. Come on over and I'll teach you how to play it.
