Did You Go To The Drive-In Theater When You Were Young?

My girlfriend and I used to go all the time. Either with our boyfriends or other friends. I remember driving around to find the best speakers. Sometimes we would pop a big bag of popcorn to save on refreshment. Once we even hid people in the trunk.
Those were the days. Back in the mid 80s there was still one drive-in left in a little town out in the middle of no where. I wonder if it still is open. Probably not.
Did you ever go to one?

Yep often..When I was small we were within a few miles of one. I don't remember going after we moved further away though..

Not really a thing over here.
Very occasionally a large park might put up a screen to show a film but you just buy tickets and take a chair to sit and watch it.

I think I went to one with a friend. We watched a horror movie- I think it was one of those where the monster comes out of the swamp. Funny to think about now.
