A devil flower that doesn't need sunlight

This is an interesting flower. It grows underground and doesn't need sunlight. It takes its nutrients from nearby fungi so it doesn't photosynthesize. They call it the devil flower because it is dark, creepy, has horns, and spends most of its life hidden beneath the forest. It only shows itself when it's time to flower. This is the picture link I hope you'll be able to see it. Got any unusual flowers or plants to share?

Wow, never heard of this. Nature is very mysterious... I think, we've not seen everything yet. There are many things at the bottom of the ocean that we aren't even aware of. There are creatures that live thousands of feet at the bottom of ocean floor, we're just getting to know about them. The earth is 70% water, but its the ocean that we've not explored. I think that's because we don't have the right tools yet. As the technology develops, I believe we'll be able to explore better and more.

I think most of the undiscovered mysteries are in the deep ocean

For something that grows underground, I think it'd smell like soil

What an incredible plant! I had no idea some flowers could survive without photosynthesis and rely on fungi for nutrients. The devil flower definitely earns its name. Thanks for sharing something so unusual and interesting

Nice, it's this kind of flowers they mostly use in most fantasy movies as some mystical plant with supernatural abilities.
