A trail of quail

About half of the trip to the Veteran's Home is on rural highways. I never know what is going to show up next. Today I had to slow down as there was a trail of quail parading across the road. They did not fly away but just ambulated on across. On my way home I saw something with four legs go rapidly through the brush on the side of the road. I think it was a fox. You never know what you will see going on your way from here to there.

I have never seen a fox before..I'd like to see one ..from a distance though

I would love to see wildlife like that, here all I get to see are mourning doves and lizards

As long as they don't show up in the road, and you can't stop..that would be no fun.

Quails are very cute little birds. Some people have them as cage birds.
