Well, I’m ready for the day, are you?
It’s Labor Day here so that means my sister, brother-in-law, two nieces, and nephew will be coming to visit today. I’m awake and ready for them to get here. Sure, it’s only 5am, but 9:30am will be here before you know it. I have the birthday presents for Annelyn and Hudson, and a few things for my sister, BIL and other niece I got for free. I know my niece wants to talk about next month’s cruise, and I’m here for it all.
Do you visit family on holidays?

No, I don't. I haven't spoken to them in 20 years. I'm not about to today.

The cruise is next month already? I am so happy for you all.
We stopped getting together just before my Dad passed away with my brothers. Sad as it is to say, nobody enjoyed each other's company. My in-laws, aren't so much for gathering on ordinary days, too many people working so many different days and having other commitments keeps us apart. We have a really big (8 person) group chat that they all greet each other on.

I heard the older couple pull into their driveway about 3 am this morning. We haven't seen them in almost two weeks. I'm sure we'll check on them later after Pretty wakes up for the day. (She doesn't want me going outside alone since I fell yesterday. *shrug*)
I hope you have a wonderful day.
My brother, Steve, was just here a couple of days ago bringing us our groceries. The rest of the family only come over if they want to try to talk me into "loaning" them money. I make sure Pretty is with me any time I might see them. She'll tell them to get off our property.
