This Filipino favorite dessert or snack is made from steamed grated cassava. It is soft, chewy, and slightly sweet, and that little topping of salty cheese makes it even better! I actually love the contrast of the sweet pichi-pichi with the savory cheese. Another variant comes with grated coconut instead of cheese. Simple snack of dessert, but definitely hard to stop eating once you star. Good to partner with coffee too.

Not really a fan of pichii pichi and I don't remember the last time I had it. I could eat it but I just don't miss it nor do I crave for it.
