My mother and I watched Backrooms. We both had been wanting to see it. It has Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell, Avan Jogia, Ember Ambrose, and Robert Bobroczkyi in it.
Big Warning: weird movie, some violence Spoiler Below
In this movie, a man named Clark is a furniture store owner. He goes to a therapist because his wife left him. He also failed to be an architect. He has some deep resentment towards his ex-wife. He thinks he deserves to be alone. HIs therapist also has some problems of her own. She can't go that she couldn't help her mother who was mentally ill. She feels trapped in the past and trapped of not being able to help anyone. Clark finds out that there are extra breaker switches in his breaker box. He also discovers a door that leads to another dimension which stretches forever. He tells his therapist about the door, but she doesn't believe him. But when he goes missing, she goes to investigate. She finds out it's the truth. He tells her that he wants to leave there forever and he wants to change. But he is killed. His therapist finds out the backrooms is actually part of a company who makes MRI machines and Backrooms is a huge MRI machine.
Note: there are videos on youtube that the backstory on Kane Parson's youtube channel. I have watch a few. Here are two Reddit posts that explain the movie better:

Have you watched any of the gamers playing Backrooms? It's definitely strange.

I loved it, the story was really good and ending was a bit of a cliff hanger but me and wife enjoyed this one in the theatres when it came out
