The cookie market was valued at $82 million for 2025. I was able to find some interesting information about cookies and here are some: Oreo is actually a knock off of Hydrox. Hydrox actually started in 1908 and Oreo came out in 1912. Ruth Wakefield created the chocolate chip cookies in the 1930s at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. Fig Newtons are naturally vegan because they have no dairy or other animal -derived ingredients. In 2018 Nabisco redesigned the box of their Animal Crackers to show the animals roaming free instead of them standing behind the circus cage bars. In 2002 Bruce Willis bought 12,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies (at a cost of $36,000) and had them shipped to troops in the Middle East. He worked with the U.S. Department of Defense to ship the cookies to service members. One of his daughters was selling the cookies and wanted to do something for the military. Before founding Famous Amos Wally Amos, worked as a talent agent and became known for bringing his homemade chocolate chip to business meetings.
