Stinky Frenchie

I had a doctor appointment this morning at the incompetent doctor today, and it went well. That’s not the point of the discussion. I walked in, and saw one patient with his wife and two French bulldogs. They were so cute! And, oh, so stinky. I ended up near them, and when they got up, you could still smell them. Not long after, a new patient came in, sat down where the dogs had been, but she then made a face, put her hand over her nose, and looked at me. She thought I was the one who had stunk it up. I found it hilarious, and didn’t correct her assumption. Later, as I left, I told the receptionist the dogs had been cute. Simultaneously, we then both exclaimed, “But so stinky!”

can I call this a coincidence.. someone just left my apartment an hour ago..he came with his dog for a transaction. The dog was really stinking. I don't understand why people don't bath for their dogs..it's sad

That’s so true. Dogs need bathing just like people!

I'm sure they are so used to the smell they just dont' smell it. It's like smokers don't recognise that their house/car smells of smoke.

I'm glad you managed to find the humour in the situation. I think I would have been falling over saying 'it wasn't me! It wasn't me!'

Oh, I would never let my fur babies out smelling stinky and all. They don't stink ever coz they sleep next to me every single night. They have to smell good all the time!

Hmm, I didn't know they had a stink problem. I didn't know dogs could go to doctor's offices. I've never seen one there .maybe the stink was all that cheese..you know the French..

Frenchies pass gas a lot, but I think the owners just weren’t keen on bathing their dogs. I think this doctor is just really nice about dogs in office. If everyone did it, I imagine he’d put a stop to it. However stinky they were, at least the dogs were well behaved.

That's funny. I must be the only person in the world who doesn't find that breed of dog cute, except for you now.

@ambiepam If you would have tried to explain the new woman would have said, “Yeah, sure. Blame the dogs” while rolling her eyes.

I'm surprised. Pets are allowed in the doctor's chamber. Here it's not possible. You have to leave your pets before entering the doctor's chamber.

I have never had it allowed any other doctor’s office in my entire life. This was a weird occasion.
