Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 90 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Top down weather! Work today was easy but annoying. Yesterday I had them define 19 terms from Ch. 1. I told them I would give them a few minutes today to finish if they didn't get it done. Most of them didn't. So they got going finishing them today. It took I'd say 25% of them 2 entire periods (80 minutes) to copy down 19 definitions. It wasn't even like I was having them synthesize anything or that it required any thought. Just copy them down. These are 15 and 16 year olds I'm talking about. I'm sure my nephew who is 10 could get it done in a class period. Anyway aside from that it was a good day. Look at that--I said it was a GOOD day. I never say that about work. It really is such a different vibe where I am now. The next time I see the principal I have to make a point of thanking him for moving me. I was hesitant about going back to the 2nd floor but overall it has been okay. It has been more than okay the past 2 days. I've been cruising around at a faster speed and am not weaving like I'm drunk. The stairs I still take care with but that has improved as well. I don't know what is making the difference but I'll take it! I don't have much to do this afternoon. For some reason my Apple Watch isn't syncing with the new iPhone. I think it was but now--nothing. I'm really really really bad at tech stuff. I can always ask my ex to help but I want to try to do it myself without bothering him. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
