Be prepared for the new era of scams

I was reading about how AI is making it easy to clone almost any voice. So you could receive a fake phone call that sounds like a relative asking you for money, when in reality you're talking to a scammer who cloned your relative's voice. And you could easily fall for it.
The article I read suggested that every family should agree on a secret code/password offline, so if someone tries to scam them, they’d have to pass the security code first.
It's insane how AI is shaping everything around us, in both good and bad ways, isn't it?

AI is a good tool to use but unfortunately there is always a bad side to something. I know they tell you when you answer the phone don't answer by saying, "Yes" because they record your voice and use it as though you said, "Yes" involving something else.

Scams like that have been around for a while. I hope nobody gets caught in it.
I had somebody claiming to be a niece trying to tell the police that she lived with me. I told them I'd never heard of her before.
