What is up with the Baking Club?

Last year we had a solid group who would participate in bake sales and then whatever projects we were doing. I had the 1st meeting for this year on Tuesday. . . and 3 people showed up. Only 1 of them was a member last year. I was like WTF? I don't know if they were looking for me at the old classroom or if they just chose not to participate. At one point the members of the Hispanic Heritage Club flash-mobbed me and they all signed in saying they wanted to be members. Then they left because they had to go practice their dance routine for the pep rally. I posted a sign-up list for next week's bake sale. So far only 2 people have said that they are bringing something. I posted that I am giving it until Monday and will cancel the sale if we don't get many more contributions. I don't know what is going on. I am just hoping that they were looking for me in the wrong space.
