I dont care how old you are or how bad your English is, these two make EVERYONE laugh on Earth and have been doing that for 100 years! How cool is that! The rights have lapsed in the U.K to show them on TV so haven't seen an episode for 15 years on TV but we can always find a clip on Youtube. Two dumb guys going about life in Los ANgeles in the 1930s, the dawn of the Hollywood Golden Age. When I was travelling in AMerica I visited a few locations from the films around the Santa Monica area and discovered I was staying in a friends house not too far from Stan Laurel's real home. I found the steps from the piano scene and the house where they try to put the ariel up. These houses are hallowed in America and not allowed to be altered. I wasnt a fan of their silent stuff, and Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd to be fair, and that silent era but can understand why silent was huge back then as it was the beginning of cinema, as wondrous as the beginning of the internet and all that stuff. Even if you think you won't laugh at an episode you have seen 100 times you know you will. It's just inoffensive and deliciously silly as the two bozos sit on nails, fall of roofs, upset policemen, you name it...
