Waste not, want not.

I wrote yesterday about the installation of a new bathroom which we need and have decided to proceed with. Now I’m wondering, when the work people rip out my old potty ought I to rescue it, put it in the garden, and plant flowers in it? Back garden of course. I think I’d like to do this - sort of thing that the anti-waste @fleura would do. However I have yet to broach the issue with senior household management, and I’m not sure if she will warm to the notion. Would you be happy with a flower-filled toilet in your garden?

Wasting is a shame and those flowers look good even if they are in an old toilet.

You could promise to put (plant) pots around the base so it's pretty much disguised.
