I'm sorry she doing that. But I do understand. I think she has beautiful hair. (I never wanted Pretty's hair cut when she was younger. Now, it's not up to me anymore.
)
I don't remember when we got our hair cut last. I'm sure I mentioned on myLot when that happened, though. (I'd like mine cut again... I'm thinking I'd like another mullet. I LIKE my hair long in the back but the front and sides drive me crazy, especially if the hair can blow into my eyes.)
Let me look and see if I can find me with a mullet for you.
This is one of those pictures taken in 1996, if it will show up. Photo is mine.

The Mylot Mullet! There are some places a mullet will never go out of style!
I’m glad she’s cutting it because I think she’s wanted to a long time, and my sister wouldn’t let her. It gets so hot here that I know it would feel good to her to get rid of it.

@AmbiePam I've been seeing mullets making a comeback among younger guys lately so I want back in on that again.
Not that I'm still young, but... you know how old people can be.
Oh, yeah, I forget other places have really hot weather, too. Our temp is supposed to reach 96F this afternoon but I'll be staying in the 74F here in the house.

Oh, she’ll always need the cap just by nature of having African American hair. The cap though, has gotten too much for her with longer hair.When she goes swimming even she has to pile that hair up, and just manhandle those locks to keep it under a cap.
The cap just keeps her hair from rubbing up on any surfaces that would lead to breakage of her hair. I remember when she was little the cap was just automatic, but as her hair grew out it really became a production.
She’s really getting excited about her new hairstyle. It will be so much easier to sleep.

@AmbiePam I know nothing about African American hair so I appreciate you explaining it to me why she uses it. I can see how the longer it gets it could be annoying with the cap and likely very uncomfortable trying to sleep. I hope she loves her new do.

She will certainly be cooler when she has it cut.
My Mom usually cuts mine ....it needs cutting now but I'm still at the caravan.

I don’t get haircuts. I do trims every few months. My hair is long and I wear it up, when it is short it’s so hard to manage and so flyaways with little curls that it’s too hard to manage.
She is such a beautiful young woman that whatever hair style she chooses she will still be beautiful!
